LiTrans welcomes four new members in Fall 2025

Laboratory of Innovations in Transportation (LiTrans) welcomes four new members in Fall 2025.

Shannon returns to the lab to start her PhD degree. Previously, she finished her MASc degree under Dr. Farooq’s supervision in 2023. She plans to continue her research on system dynamics based lifecycle analysis for sustainability.

Praveen comes from India and is starting his PhD degree after working for several years as a co-founder of a start-up, specializing in intelligent transportation systems. He will be working on micro-mobility related research.

Nadia recently finished her undergraduate degree in Management Engineering at Waterloo. She begins her MASc degree under Dr. Farooq’s supervision with a focus on sustainable transportation.

Luke starts his MASc degree after working for several years as an undergraduate intern at the lab. He will be working on the novel applications of eXtended Reality in transportation.
