Irum Sanaullah is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Innovations in Transportation at Toronto Metropolitan University, working under the supervision of Dr. Bilal Farooq. Her research focused on investigating driver behaviour, especially of newcomers in Canada, for which she is collaborating with the Ministry of Transportation, Ontario.
Irum completed her Ph.D. in Intelligent Transportation Systems from Loughborough University, UK, in 2013. She has also worked as a researcher on the project of social and environmental impacts of adopting a driverless car (dial-a-pod) system in the UK. She has been teaching Transportation-related subjects in Universities for the last ten years.
