Biography

David is a Postdoc Fellow in the Laboratory of Innovations in Transportation at Ryerson University supervised by Dr. Bilal Farooq. David’s research is focused on cybersecurity and privacy management systems for smart mobility. He is currently developing a comprehensive Blockchain framework for private and secure transactions of transportation data. He is also exploring the use of Blockchain in privacy-aware distribute transportation models.

David received his BsC in Mathematics, MsEng in Systems Engineering-Transportation (with Honours) and PhD in Systems Engineering-Transportation from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
