Biography

Kimia Kamal is a Ph.D. student in the Transportation Engineering program at Toronto Metropolitan University, Toronto. She received her B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran and M.Sc in Transportation Planning from Sharif University of Technology, Iran. She started her Ph.D. in January 2021 under the supervision of Dr. Bilal Farooq. Her research focuses on advanced travel behavioural analysis through the utilization of Deep Neural Network models and causal inference techniques.
