Rulla Al-Haideri earned her B.Sc. (2011) and M.Sc. (2014) in Civil Engineering from the University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. From 2014 to 2019, she worked as a researcher and research groups coordinator at the University of Sharjah and the Sharjah Research Academy (Government of Sharjah), where she was involved in collaborative research initiatives in civil and environmental engineering. She completed her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, in 2025. Her doctoral work focuses on studying microscopic interactions among cyclists, pedestrians, motorcyclists, and vehicles at roundabouts, using discrete choice models.
