Godwin is an enthusiastic technologist who shows relentless passion for intelligent systems and disruptive technologies. He originally hails from Ghana in West Africa but spent his recent years in Montreal, Canada where he actively participates in data protection techniques for travel based models using state-of-art deep learning algorithms. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Geomatic Engineering at the University of Science and Technology in Ghana, a Master’s Degree in Management of Information Systems from Coventry University, United Kingdom and currently finalizing a PhD at Concordia University, Montreal-Canada. He started his Ph.D. in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Bilal Farooq and Prof. Zachary Patterson. His research interests span on providing privacy protection for large-scale location-aware data using deep learning approaches in a distributed environment. In his leisure time, he spends time with family, teaches technology, and discovers new places!
