Thomas Zhao Awarded 2023 NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award

Starting in May 2023, Thomas Zhao will be conducting his research under the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA) in the Laboratory of Innovations in Transportation (LiTrans). The URSA is a program sponsored by the NSERC of Canada and is intended to develop a student’s interest through research experience in a university lab. Thomas is a 4th year Computer Science undergraduate student working at LiTrans with research experience in VR and AR applications, and will be focusing his summer research on Multiobjective indoor routing algorithms for digital twins.
