Tareq Alsaleh Successfully Defended his PhD Dissertation

Congratulations to Tareq Alsaleh on successfully defending his PhD dissertation on July 06, 2026. Dr. Alsaleh completed his undergraduate in Civil Engineering in 2012 and master’s degree in Transportation Engineering in 2016 from Jordan University of Science and Technology. In September 2022, he was admitted to the Ph.D. program at Toronto Metropolitan University under the supervision of Dr. Farooq. His thesis developed original research on the pathways towards sustainability in transportation systems. The examination committee also nominated his dissertation for consideration for the Governor-General’s Gold Medal Award.
