WiFi based Crowd Management Research Awarded at CTRF 2024

At the 2024 Canadian Transportation Research Forum (CTRF) Conference, the lab’s research is awarded 3rd place in the annual best paper competition. Congratulations to the authors Saba Sabet and Bilal Farooq on receiving this award. The related research was part of Saba’s 2022 Rob MacIsaac research fellowship at Metrolinx, a Crown agency of the Government of Ontario that manages and integrates road and public transport in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Stinson ITS supported this research by generously providing their WiFi sensors.
