Shadi Djavadian is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Innovations in Transportation at Ryerson University working under the supervision of Dr. Bilal Farooq. Her research explores the applications of automation & communication in vehicles, their effect on reducing congestion and GHG emissions. Her research also looks at mobility behaviour & response to automation.
Shadi received Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Transportation Engineering from University of Toronto, Canada. In 2009 she was a visiting student at UC Berkeley Institute of Transportation Studies. Before starting her Ph.D. in 2013 at Ryerson University she was a researcher from 2011-2012 at the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands.
